• The club actually began in 1984 as The Lioness club of Central Square. Over time, we have needed to change and in 2021 chartered a new club – The Hastings Lions Club. Although we continue the history of giving and serving as Lioness, we are looking to the future and are focused on the needs of not only our local community but the needs of Lions Club International as well.
The Hastings Lions Club is dedicated to serving our local community through impactful initiatives and purposeful service. Our rich history and strong member base propels us to make a lasting difference in our community and beyond. Our focus areas include Disaster Relief, Youth programs, Humanitarian support, Hunger assistance, and Mental Health awareness.
We meet twice a month/ The first Tuesday of the month is our board meeting. It is held at the Central Square American Legion at 6:30 pm. The second meeting is held on the third Tuesday of the month for business, socialization and sometimes dinner. Again at 6:30 pm at the Central Square American Legion.
